Another milestone

Adrian has started using his pictures to communicate! It's taken a little while, but PECS has opened new doors for him! Today, we had a picture of his bubbles, and found out that he is willing to use the picture of bubbles as motivation for us to blow bubbles for him. Once he finally figured out that, he started using the picture to choose between his soy milk and his smoothie drink. Another proud mommy moment :) To celebrate, we took him to the carousel at the mall. We took the PECS and applied it in the car. We set up his first/then schedule up on the backseat. We went to Target first, then we went to the mall. He rode three times, and didn't put up a fight when we left. For the first time, he wasn't screaming the entire way out of the mall. Such a difference, such a relief.
